Angels & Demons - First clubbing this semester

Suddenly realize this was my first clubbing since this semester. What's wrong with me? Tired? Lazy? Low-energy? Anyway, finally i came out tonight. Half drunk felt so good, seems long time ago that I was >50% drunk. Surprisingly low show-ups in the Celler; huge representation from Section F in the Estate. I am an angel, thus dressed like an angel. I am not a good dancer, but alcohol helps. Time flies. Enjoy the remaining months in HBS; cherich every single moment in life ;-)

Grounding work - Art and Envorionment Symposium

Attended a symposium on Art and the Envorionment this weekend at the Mass. College of Art and Design, right besides the MFA. This interdisciplinary conference brought together artists, scientists, and other interested parties to explore the intersections of art and environmental concerns. An interesting conversation over the lunch with Beth, a wood artist who owns her furniture shop. She is one of the few Americans I met who holds an international view and nvr be too generous in criticizing the wrongs of this country. In the end, we agreed ecosystem and envorionmentalism is a costly cause. It's a money-burning machine; it's unfair to charge developing countries for lack of environment conciousness. Before people can feed themselves with food and lodging, environment issues are rarely brought under the highlight. We also touched upon the universal healthcare coverage. Only until then did I realize how scarce the providers resources are in this country. With a bunch of MDs around my campus, I almost forgot the even larger demand of the patients. Her monthly healthcare premium doubled when Romney launched the universal coverage plan in Massachusetts; but she still cannot make an appointment with the GP in 3 months time. No wonder why the popular topic politicians boast around does not generate enough excitement within the constituencies.
